1. DO ECLISSE FRAMES COME SUPPLIED WITH THE DOORS?

Eclisse only manufacture the frames and generally leave the choice of the TIMBER door to the customer as the frames take most conventional doors including glass doors that have a suitable timber surround.

GLASS pocket door kits are supplied WITH the glass door blade.

Eclisse have a limited range of doors available on special order for the doors that are not generally available in the UK such Circular doors. Contact us for details.

2. WHAT ARE THE LIMITS ON THE DOOR SIZES?

Our frames are designed to fit around a standard range of door sizes but non-standard sizes can be manufactured to order. Please contact us with your request. Standard door thickness between 35 and 44mm Max door weight 100kg, on request special bearings can be supplied that increase the max. door weight to 120kg.

3. WHERE CAN I FIND DOOR FURNITURE TO SUIT?

4. DO YOU OFFER INSTALLATION?

We normally only supply the frames, these are relatively easy to assemble and install by Builders, Joiners or other competent persons.

5. WHAT GUARANTEE DO YOU OFFER?

The Eclisse steel system is guaranteed for 15 years against material and manufacturing defects. It is not guatanteed by us for the installation which is not our responsibility. The wooden jamb kit is guaranteed for 5 years.

6. HOW DO I MAINTAIN AND CLEAN MY KIT?

No special maintenance or cleaning is required as the Eclisse steel unit is guaranteed for 15 years and has maintenance free parts. Should for any reason the track need to be accessed, this can be done without breaking into the wall, first remove the architraves (if any) and the jambs to one side and slide the door out. You now have access to the running track above the opening, remove the visible small screws being careful to leave the larger screws in the special holes alone. After removing the small screws the track can then be pulled towards the door post and removed. Follow the reverse procedure for re-assembly.

7. WHAT ABOUT NON STANDARD DOOR SIZES?

Frames can be manufactured for non-standard sizes to order, please contact us for a quotation.

8. WHAT IS THE ANTI WARP / UNDER DOOR PROFILE?

This is an extruded aluminium guide that fits into a routed channel at the bottom of your door that gives an improved sliding action, increased wear resistance and protection against deformation due to humidity.

9. ARE ECLISSE KITS SUPPLIED WITH TIMBER JAMBS?

Yes, unlike some inferior kits, the Eclisse kit from Pocketdoorshop.co.uk, is supplied with a complete timber jamb kit. This includes the brush strips, rubber gaskets, and end door post (single version) Details of our beautiful jambs can be found here .
