Introducing our pocket door spares range
Our range of pocket door systems are all designed for long term use, and to be used faultlessly and consistently for many years. The robust galvanised steel design of our pocket door frames, and the expert design of the jambs and other elements of the door frame assembly, all combine to provide an effective system which operates all day everyday for many years. We are very confident of the quality of our products, and we know we have a long history of satisfied customers, that is because our pocket door systems are delivered with everything you need to construct and install the pocket door frames, but we do stock some spare parts items just in case.
In our experience spare parts are only ever needed because certain items have been lost or misplaced, or an additional item was ordered incorrectly. We very rarely receive comments that an item hasn’t been supplied, or has been supplied damaged, but we accept that on odd occasions this could occur. So our spare parts range is based on the most commonly reported items for being lost or mis-ordered.
The most common pocket door spares
There are just four items in our spare parts range, but in truth you can order any part that is missing, incorrect or damaged. The four spare parts are:
- Timber Jambs for Eclisse Pocket Doors
Door jambs or timber liners are size specific to the metal frame construction. They basically finish off your kit by lining your metal frame, installed between the inside of the frame and door, supplied with 2 sets of brushes for 35, 40 and 44mm timber doors. The jamb kit helps prevent dust and foreign objects falling into the pocket and creating a professional finish.
Our replacement door jambs are for our Unico kit only and can fit doors measuring 35-44mm. We can supply replacement jamb kits for both single and double doors also.
- Carrier kit
This is a set of replacement parts for the overhead rail of your pocket door system is sometimes called the runners or rollers. The carrier very rarely goes wrong as it is seal ball raced unit concealed within the track, cycle tested up 100,000 times. (over 25 years normal use!) On the rare occasion these do need replacing they can be purchased here. We most often supply replacement parts because these items have been lost or mis-ordered.
A replacement carrier kit consists of two ball-raced rollers, two top door brackets and fixing screws, two door bolts, one adjustable stop and one set of floor posts and fixing screws. This carrier kit is for use on a single pocket door, if you have double doors then you will need to order two carrier kits.
The under-door profile is a U-shaped channel which fits on the underside of the door to keep it centred, but must be used in conjunction with the timber door guide. The channel comes in a standard length of 1100mm, which can be cut to size to suit the width of pocket door that you have installed.
As referenced above, the timber door guide is used in combination with the under-door profile. This is a steel channel which runs along the floor in the ‘pocket’ wall cavity, and it clicks into place very easily when assembling the pocket door frame. A nylon ‘pin’ is an important feature of the door guide, because this is what the under-side door profile runs on top of.

While these are the four most common spare parts, you can order other parts for the pocket door system, if you need them. Simply refer to the installation guide and supply us with the part number of the component that you need. This will help us identify the part required, however, you can also supply us images of the part, which sometimes will make this task much easier.
