Installation

The Eclisse pocket door system can be used in new build, solid or stud walls, just by including the overall dimension in the wall design. In existing buildings with stud walls it is a relatively simple job to remove the required amount of the stud-wall to be able to incorporate the frame.

With existing solid walls, a section of the wall has to be removed and a lintel installed above or the frame can be installed alongside the existing wall effectively creating a new 100mm stud-wall. Can be used with metal and wooden stud.

Eclisse have spent a great amount of research and development to have the simple and easiest product to assemble and install. Assembly of the pocket takes a matter of minutes using horizontals that click together and installation is by simply screwing through the top and end verticals into the wall.

  • Frame assembly
  • Frame installation
  • Door installation
  • Jambs and door post installation

You can plasterboard at any time after frame assembly but before installing the jambs.

Assembly Made Easy

The pocket has a “screwless” assembly process and can be assembled in a matter of minutes – simply, easily without the risk of mistakes.

The complete frame is then screwed into the existing structure through the end verticals and special positions along the top track holder.

Ideal for single sliding doors where locking is not important. Supplied with finger pull for use in the leading edge of the door. Suitable for both 35mm and 44mm doors.

Specifically designed for use with bathroom / wc. These locks have internal thumb turn and external emergency opening. Also included is a finger pull for use in the leading edge of the door.

The pocket door is sometimes referred to as a sliding door system and has become increasingly popular within the UK, where saving space has grown in importance.
